What I like about this whitepaper that has been published by JP Morgan [LINK] is that it looks at how investor attitudes have changed over the last decade. Financing startups and unicorns (a new business that does not have an established track record) in very in vogue. This earnings multiples chart alone is interesting and says a lot about investor appetites and expectations today.
